I don't think Honaker's girls will much in the tournament. I hope they prove me wrong, but not one girl on that team has any kind of a team concept. All they do is fight amongst themselves and bicker over playing time. Plus, throw in a bunch of whiny a$$ "mommy coaches" and "daddy coaches" trying to dictate to coach Shortridge what he needs to do. There is so much potential on that team but until the players learn to work together and the parents learn to leave the coaching to the coaches, the girls aren't gonna do crap.

Honaker has some talent, but now entering the district tournament they are gonna have to cope with the loss of Mally Gent as their point guard. She quit last week. Although they did beat Twin Valley without her, having 58 fouls called, it couldnt have been a very offensive game. 4 of Twin Valley's starters watched from the bench in the final minutes of the 4th quarter as they fouled out. Im anxious to see how this one goes, Council always suprises people in the tournament, but Haysi has had it pretty content all season.

It would be hard to see her go. I'm glad she's not because i would end up shedding some tears.
